Dr. Ameen Alawadhi is a consultant Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist. He graduated from the Arab Board and the European Board of Dermatology and Venereology. He completed two fellowships at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, specializing in Complex Medical Dermatology and Dermatopathology.
He was awarded the teacher of the year for three consecutive years at Mount Sinai. Currently, he serves as the head of Dermatology and Chairperson of the Internal Medicine Department at Salmaniya Medical Complex in Bahrain. He is also a lecturer at Arabian Gulf University and an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Alawadhi holds the position of President at the BDLA conference and the Bahrain Dermatology Society. He is an Editorial Board member of JAAD (Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology) and a member of the International Society of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology.
