Dr. Carlos Torres-Cabala is a Professor of the Departments of Pathology and Dermatology and Chief of the Dermatopathology Section, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX, USA. He is also the Co-Director of the Dermatopathology Research Laboratory, Department of Translational Molecular Pathology and 2020 Inaugural recipient of the Faculty Excellence Award in Patient Care, Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Dr. Torres-Cabala is a former member of the Executive Committee of the International Society of Dermatopathology. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles in Dermatopathology and Pathology, with emphasis in melanoma and cutaneous hematolymphoid processes. He has co-edited a book, Genetics of Melanoma (Torres-Cabala and Curry Eds, 2016) and authored over 15 book chapters.
