Dr. Fatema Khamdan is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, currently serving as an assistant professor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in the USA. She’s recognized for her significant contributions to dermatology education and research. Dr. Khamdan holds the position of official social media editor and editorial board member at the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD). Her dedication to medical education extends to her role as a former training coordinator at Salmaniya Medical Complex and a tutor at the Arabian Gulf University. Dr. Khamdan is also the author of the first children’s storybook addressing the dermatological condition Alopecia Areata, titled “I Defeated the Fox.”
