Dr. Kristina Semkova is a Consultant in Dermatology and Dermatopathology at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital Trust, London. She completed her Leadership Development Programme from EADV in 2022 and earned her PhD from Varna Medical University in 2021. Dr. Semkova holds memberships in several professional societies, including the International Society for Dermatopathology, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and the Royal College of Physicians.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Semkova is deeply involved in education and medical training. She serves as an educational and clinical supervisor for dermatology trainees and students at St. John’s Institute of Dermatology and King’s College London. She is also the Module Lead for the MSc in Clinical Dermatology Programme at King’s College London, a regular peer-reviewer for BJD and CED, and a lecturer and organizer for various dermatology and dermapathology courses.
Dr. Semkova’s comprehensive approach to patient care, commitment to education, and active involvement in professional societies underscore her dedication to the fields of dermatology and dermapathology.
