M. Yadira Hurley, MD is Interim Chair, Professor of Dermatology and Pathology at Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Medicine and directs the Dermatopathology Division and Fellowship. Clinical interests include cutaneous lymphomas and clinicopathologic correlation for improving patient care and is a principal investigator in of multiple clinical trials.
Past activities for the American Society of Dermatopathology include Chair of the Dermatopathology Fellows In-Service Assessment Writing Group, Maintenance of Certification Committee, and the Appropriate Use Criteria Task Force. She is currently Chair of the Quality Committee and President of the ASDP. Activities for the American Academy of Dermatology include Deputy Chair of the Dermatology Rapid Response Committee for the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatopathology Associate Editor for the JAAD.
She completed an internship in internal medicine, residency in dermatology and fellowship in dermatopathology at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis. She joined SLU after her fellowship, where she practices dermatology and dermatopathology.
