Dr. Khalid Alnaqbi is a Consultant and Chief of Rheumatology at Tawam Hospital and the Physician Lead of the Rheumatology Committee of SEHA Medical Council. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UAE University and is the Vice President of the Emirates Medical Association. Previously, he held the role of Vice President of the Emirates Society for Rheumatology (2016–2021). A graduate of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at UAE University, Dr. Alnaqbi completed postgraduate residency training in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and a Spondyloarthritis Fellowship at the University of Toronto. He is an active member of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) and the Assessment of Spondyloarthritis International Society (ASAS). Dr. Alnaqbi has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, authored a book chapter on the diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis, and serves as a journal reviewer for prestigious medical publications.
